It's been a great weekend and collectors have been very enthusiastic about the new collection.
I'm back to creating the next few pieces for the Miniatureswest.com show next month.
Here is the link to the Easter cart that was unveiled at Tom Bishops show. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220939003522
The Alice tea table sold to to wonderful collector at the end of the show.
Now back to watching Real Housewives of Beverly hills to inspire a miniature mansion with many shoes
and cute teacup dogs. =-)

Miniature Gray Cat By Bridget McCarty
Hi friends!
I'm proud to present the first cat of 2012,
"Softy." I love her tiny little face and soft gray coat.
I'm very happy to get back to work, in my new office, with a new line for the Tom Bishop show.
I will also be teaching painting techniques for Mexican pottery in February.
This little one is available on ebay.
I will see you in Philadelphia Miniaturia 2012 for sure.

Dollhouse Miniature Candy Cat Tree By Bridget McCarty
Hello!
Here is another wonderful creation that found a happy home. Naughty kitty climbing her tree to catch a mouse.
If you listen to Pandora.com, try the classic Christmas station or children's Christmas. It's wonderful! I can't wait to get back to making minis. Moving into a different house right now has changed my whole schedule, suddenly.
January has the CIMTA show in Las Vegas, for wholesale buyer. I really want to go with my friend Laura.
Happy Holidays!

Bridget McCarty's Christmas Store Display
Ebay Link to this item for sale.
I love how this little store display turned out.
I am a fanatic of miniature Christmas items. In specific themed displays and new techniques to re create foliage stems. My real life house has become filled with the larger versions of these wonderful creations. As we all know, space is limited sometimes so what better way to enjoy a new display but in miniature.
Check this space for some classes that I will be teaching on a whole new subject. It will be a lot of fun for next year in Feb. Enjoy! =-)

It's a Cats Christmas by Bridget McCarty
This month Miniature Collector magazine featured my newest creation in their "Through the looking glass" page. It's called "It's a Cats Christmas." I created the scene in a round room box that sits cozy inside a wreath for your wall. It's done in one inch scale. The majority of items were hand made by myself, except the chair and table structure. The painting on the left was done by Kerri Johnson and the little lit up house by Laura Montgomery. Laura goes to Chicago International if you are interested in these little houses. They have a hole in the back if you would like to add light to them.
